Message from the College of Management
The College of Management at Metropolitan State University is proud to be the home of the Center for Women Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurship Education, which offers cutting-edge entrepreneurship education to aspiring and existing business owners. Our entrepreneurship courses may be taken in a convenient online format without being enrolled at our university as a student. An entrepreneurship certificate for individuals and an entrepreneurship minor for Metropolitan State University students are in the process of being approved.
The Center is also one of the founding partners of the Women's Business Development Center (WBDC)-Minnesota, which provides Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) Certification to majority-owned women's businesses in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. Through various community partnerships, the WBDC-MN offers training, mentoring, networking, and creates business development opportunities for WBEs.
We thank our major partners and sponsors Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. and Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, LLP for their vision and support of the Center.
Please send us an email if you would like to be on our mailing list and receive updates regarding our programs and events. We encourage you to explore our Web site and take advantage of our latest offerings.
