Full Text

The complete electronic text of an article is called the full text. Some databases, like Wilson Web Education and Academic Search Premier, provide entire articles online. Databases that offer full text articles will have this symbol next to them:

What if there are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see?

Many databases, for example CQ Researcher, provide full content. Full content includes the article plus any graphs, charts, pictures and text. Many databases also give you the option to view the article in PDF format, meaning you will see the article exactly as it appeared in print.
